Lee’s style of improvised theatre and comedy was shaped in his hometown of Winnipeg, Canada. From a young age, he performed in school and with his own group. The work of Robert Slade and Steven McIntyre influenced him even more. He is most interested in narrative storytelling and touching, believable character development.
After forming CRUMBS in 1997, the early 2000’s mark the beginning of the international, specifically European touring times. CRUMBS were one of the first groups to ever show their improvised longform shows in months long tours across Europe, sparking a heightened interest in the art of improvising longer connected stories. Until today, Lee’s expertise in storytelling and character work makes him a highly sought-after instructor.
