Improvisation
Lee’s style of improvised theatre and comedy was shaped in his hometown of Winnipeg, Canada. From a young age, he performed in school and with his own group. The work of Robert Slade and Steven McIntyre influenced him even more. He is most interested in narrative storytelling and touching, believable character development.
After forming CRUMBS in 1997, the early 2000’s mark the beginning of the international, specifically European touring times. CRUMBS were one of the first groups to ever show their improvised longform shows in months long tours across Europe, sparking a heightened interest in the art of improvising longer connected stories. Lee’s expertise in storytelling and character work makes him a highly sought-after instructor.
Lee now lives in Berlin and is most known for his work with improvisation, comedy and stand-up. A member of the LoriLees (with Inbal Lori). Also known for his show ‘Your 15 minutes of Fame’, ‚Clever‘ the live comedy game show, Improvised D&D shows and has worked with many other groups.
He has toured and traveled the world over performing, teaching and learning for over 30 years.
